Champion Kit:Setesh

                       Champion Concept: Setesh

Resource System: Mana in Yordle Form CD restriced in Manticore Form
Role: Support, Tank, Jungler, Mid
Yordle Form has AP Ratios/Manticore Form has AD/AP Ratios.

Hidden Passive-All water spells reduce Setesh’s movement speed by 1

Passive-Sand’s Curse: Yordle Form- When Setesh runs out of mana he begins to use his hp instead. Manticore Form- Setesh gains movement speed for each enemy champion who is slowed by one of Setesh’s spells.

Q-Yordle Form Sand Lash: Setesh makes a whip of sand and lashes an enemy target dealing damage and slowing them.
Manticore Form Lion’s Leap: Setesh Leaps a short distance and deals damage to a single target dealing additional damage if the target is slowed or snared by Setesh. Subsequent levels of this spell increase the slow percentage and damage dealt.

W- Yordle Form Sand Storm: If put on an ally increases magic resist and armor for a short time and autoattacks made against the target slows the enemies movement speed. If put on an enemy, movement speed is reduced and the target is blinded. Manticore Form- Sand Claws: Passive: Autoattacks deal additional magic damage. On use: Setesh gains increased attack speed and movement speed and subsequent hits on a single target do additional damage. If Sand Storm is affecting Setesh in Manticore Form every 3rd autoattack slows his target. Subsequent levels of this spell increase the power of the buffs and debuffs and increases the duration of the slows and blinds.

E- Yordle Form: Whirling Sand Setesh sends out a sand tornado (line skillshot nuke) dealing damage to any enemy in its path and slowing them. Whirling Sand also leaves a trail of sand behind it. Once the tornado reaches its destination it moves in a small circle for a few seconds. If an enemy champion touches the tornado it latches onto them slowing them and any nearby enemies for a few seconds. Manticore Form- Manticore’s Sting: Setesh fires a rain of spikes on a specific location dealing damage, additionally if the spikes hit a trail of whirling sand or a target with a tornado attached to it, the spikes fuse with the sand and root any enemy targets in the area for a short time. Subsequent levels of this spell increase the damage dealt and the snare duration.

R-Manticore Form/Yordle Form: When Setesh transforms into a Yordle he gains a boost to movement speed and ability power that decreases the longer he stays in Yordle Form. Setesh only loses the bonus stats over time and will not decay additional stats after the bonus is depleted. When Setesh transforms into a Manticore he gains increased armor and magic resist and additional attack damage which decreases the longer he stays in Manticore Form. Setesh only loses the bonus stats over time and will not decay additional stats after the bonus is depleted. Subsequent levels of this spell increase the power of the buffs given as well as the time it takes for the buffs to deplete.

When I made abilities for Setesh I wanted him to feel less like a support and more like a jack of all trades who could play most roles. I wanted him to be very disruptive but still be able to deal damage and be in the thick of things. I wanted his forms to be able to combo together and reward quick fingers. I wanted him to be able to stick to a target and do damage but not be able to take down a target by himself unless very fed or if you built him very offensively. I also wanted people to be able to choose many build paths. You could go primarily AP and rely on his CD’s for damage and CC or you could build AD and go HAM as a Manticore. Or you could mix and build hybrid. For his ultimate boosts the idea of a sand curse/blessing brought to my mind an Champion of sand running down Setesh and falling off of him. I thought that like Jayce, Setesh would gain a buff while switching forms but that these would be slightly more powerful and would decay over a longer time frame (maybe 5-10 seconds). These stat gains would mean that his base stats for Magic Resist, Armor, AD and AP would be lower but would be above average or high when he switched forms for those few seconds. This idea of Setesh reforming himself to his full power when switching forms and having a short power boost then having the sand start running off of him is an unique concept I thought would be aesthetically pleasing and fun. Setesh’s passive in Yordle Form further plays on the sand curse theme by suggesting when Setesh is running low on magic he can start using his own body/sand to fuel his spells. In Manticore Form I thought if sand is covering his enemies and the battlefield, he should be able to move over and towards his element faster with his long Manticore strides, thus the additional movement speed when enemies are slowed by his spells.
