Champion Kit:Claire

                       Champion Concept: Claire

Resource System: Mana
Role: Mid
Claire has AP ratios

Passive Escape Artist- When Claire drops below 30% hp she gains a large movement speed boost which quickly deteriorates over 2 seconds 1 minute CD, this also affects her clone.

Q-Illusionary Blast: Claire throws confusing Champions at an enemy damaging them. Subsequent levels of this spell increase the damage dealt.

W- Trickster’s Hook: Claire sends out a lined hook snaring the first enemy hit.
Illusionary Ballet: When Claire’s clone is active her second skill becomes Illusionary Ballet. On first use Claire and her clone string a line between each other for a few seconds and gain a movement speed buff. All enemies who are hit by the chain take damage and are snared. Claire may activate it again once to switch places with her clone. Subsequent levels of this spell increase the movement speed bonus, the damage dealt, and the snare duration.

E-Warp Space: Claire creates a horizontal wall which slows and leaves a dot on enemies when they pass through as well as stealth allies for 1 second. Allies can only use the wall once every 15 seconds. Subsequent levels of this spell increase the radius of the wall and increases the damage of the dot.

R- Magician’s Assistant: Claire creates a clone of herself (similar to Shaco cast as she becomes invulnerable for a second then makes a clone close to herself, also like Shaco the clone resets to Claire’s position after traveling too far.) This clone lasts for 30 seconds and its movement can be controlled with R or alt right clicks. The clone takes 25% additional damage and deals no autoattack damage. This clone also copies all spells cast by the player for 25% less damage than Claire’s spells. Subsequent levels of this spell decrease the damage taken of the clone and increase its damage dealt by 5%, as well as decreases the CD of the spell.

When I made Claire’s abilities I thought of a clone that was controllable like Shaco’s, but taken even farther where abilities also come into play. I knew this would be extremely challenging to manage for all but the most experienced and skilled players. But I thought I wanted to try something that had never been attempted. I thought of being able to cast abilities twice once from the main character and another from the clone. I thought of a few ways to do this. The first being you could only cast a spell from the clone when your own version of the spell is on CD and there being a small counter above each spell showing the clones CD as well. Then I thought that all the spells could be cast from the clone by pressing alt then casting the spell. I know a few Rioters were adverse to controlling multiple characters but I think that testing out a fully controllable clone, or even an AI controlled clone, would be something really cool to see. I am still thinking of a way to better manage the clone’s spells so any suggestions would be great.
